A very astute response to Clegg’s article, which I also thought was lacking in any self awareness. Arrogant is an accurate assessment.
So. In the spirit of being fair, I have now read Nick Clegg‘s Essay about the Future of Europe - and Britain‘s Part in it. I have also done my best to ignore who wrote it, and focus on the arguments in it. A few thoughts

The tone of comments on migration from this government has troubled me for some time. Labour should not try to hold intolerant right wing voices at bay by adopting their language and policies.
