Season 12 is a fantastic and iconic season...that rather unfortunately ends with its worst story. Still, 4/5 stories being good isn't that bad of a batting average.

Ranking (best to worst)
- Genesis of the Daleks
- The Ark in Space
- Robot
- The Sontaran Experiment
- Revenge of the Cybermen

The direction is flat. The characters are mundane. The plot is boring. And the pacing is ungodly sluggish. Easily the worst story of the Season, and such a shame it was the finale. 3/10.

In future, I'm just reading the novelisation.

Bro. How did the guy who created the Cybermen...forget how to write the Cybermen? These are the most emotional emotionless cyborgs I've ever seen.

I don't like looking at my phone when I'm supposed to be watching something. And across this whole season and the RTD1 era, I've held onto that habit.

Planet of the Dead and Revenge of the Cybermen are the only stories so aggressively dull that I broke that habit.
