You're right. We need to consider the shape of the sandwich, and its tensile integrity. If the law is too relaxed about this you could get people throwing thin and hard sandwiches that have been toasted.

This applies to so many household costs. Wld debate be more sensible if price changes were always presented in real rather than nominal terms and ppl understood the difference?
