As it turned out, I retained the movie's overall story, but it was definitely buried deep within the recesses of my brain. As the story unfolded, I kept thinking to myself "Oh, yeah, I remember this bit.", but without the benefit of visuals, I'm pretty sure the details would have remained repressed.

In addition to playing the Munchkin Coroner of Oz in MGM's The Wizard of Oz, Meinhardt was an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile "Little Oscar" spokesperson/chef. Several altered W.W. Denslow illustrations appear in the book to denote chapters, including this one of "Little Oscar" and the Wienermobile in Oz.🌭
