seems a "bold" move considering most of their system is pretty much not fit for purpose these days. #Sonos

It felt like everyone else woke up after the election like it was Christmas morning and Santa had been.

I still had this guy as an MP. Destined to be even more feckless and toadying in opposition than in power.
Conservative MPs Want to Scrap Workers’ Rights to Paid Holiday and Annual Leave

They are also seeking to overturn workplace protections from sexual harassment, calling them an attack on “free speech”

Never allow them anywhere near power again

Need a new epic #fantasy book/series stat. Read vast majority of the classics and contemporaries of the genre (and a lot of the not so classics as well). Can't currently find anything, so might do a #Malazan selected reread but want something new. Any book or series #recommendations out there?

Astonishing.
To think this Hergé began this story a mere FIVE years after the end of World War 2! It's mind-blowingly modern.
“Look! The gantries are floodlit; the rocket is ready for launching! It’s like magic!”

Surely a very serious candidate for the greatest single panel in comics history, from Herge’s “The Adventures Of Tintin: Destination Moon”.

Wondering about what’s the point of a twitter like service without the ability to moan at train companies.

I think that says more about my posting rather than the service itself.

(Or not, but it'll be nice not to have the 'you suck' and spam responses).

Was speaking to my mum last night who lives in Brittany. The distance that and disparity in our lived experience is increasingly startling. France is by no means without its issues but it has reverted to a familiar lifestyle post pandemic. Here in the UK it’s something is very different. #brexit
