I was SHOCKED to find *no* kids music in any of my top lists this year 😱🤯 I attribute it to my oldest kids being in school and my youngest being too young to request anything 😎

This is my experience with my children as well. And usually, the less authoritatively I ask, the more compliant they are!

Most of the kids I know with "authority issues" are either neurodivergent or have significant trauma and/or problems at home. Discipline is the last thing they need.

We decorated yesterday and when we were finally done I set a reminder on my phone for November 2025 to check the lights *before* decoration day. Probably won't do it tho
