I didn’t float up the Lagan in a bubble.
Listen to Camel.
Half-remembered electronic music from a liminal world.
The artists on the Ghost Box label occupy the same space in my brain as Scarred For Life, Scarfolk and Usborne books. Lovely stuff.

New music Friday and it’s the long-awaited release of the next opus by Kylver.
I championed this instrumental prog band from the start when I was writing for Prog. I knew there was something special about them. Damn, I love being right. This is as epic as the artwork suggests.

Camel - Dust and Dreams

Comeback albums don’t get much better than this. Based on The Grapes of Wrath. Magnificent. Andy Latimer’s guitar work is jaw-dropping.

Incredibly insensitive of M&S to use Rhythm Is A Dancer in their Christmas food adverts. Don’t they know Americans are starving due to the halting of Snap benefits?

This album is amazing. I have it memorized and could hum it/do terrible mimicked lead bass noises for you. I’m putting it on now. It’s as good as the best Yes album but all BASS. Fuckin nerd city for prog psychos like me.

Yes-like in every possible aspect, Chris Squire's Fish out of Water, released 50 years ago today, is an album that's typical of his band's progressive formula.

I’m addicted to Smersh Pod. Where else can you get magic like this in a discussion of John Carpenter’s The Fog?
