Of course, I also don’t think the OU student who wrote the shitty Bible essay was doing so in good faith. It’s a classic cancellation stunt and OU is ensuring that it will continue to be a profitable and popular grift that continues to threatens the entire education system

Totally different compsci subfield than my mom’s PhD, but really good at explaining a lot I remember hearing from her in the linked blog posts. Best of luck on your dissertation from a fellow PhD-seeker!

Age 4-6 I refused to watch or read anything that wasn’t about penguins and inexplicably gained the power to comprehend advanced zoology texts if penguins were involved but could not in other contexts. Ditto age 9-12 about dense finance texts about the leadup to the 2008 recession
