It actually can’t as written; DT says only normal zombies, whereas the Death Perception one has to trigger on a shot that the enemy has an Elemental Weakness to (Napalm Burst on Mangler, etc.)

Basic zombies don’t *have* Elemental weaknesses, so they basically work completely opposite to each other!

Only applying x2 damage to non-critical hits is such an efficient solution; you’re obviously still going to be aiming for crits for points & efficiency anyways, but overall still leads to doing more damage (because any hits you miss get that boost)

Much more of a passive buff

From the sounds of it, this tutorial is just going to explain all the things that everyone figures out in their first game anyway.

It's not going to convey any of the subtler, more complex ideas that are *actually* what you need to break past that entry-level barrier

What makes the mode hard to approach isn't confusion about the base mechanics like Pack-a-Punch, it's the smaller things we take for granted that allow you to optimize: how to move, collecting & training hordes, manipulating spawns, resource management, etc.
