I think that a big reason why #Scrooged is the best of all the Christmas Carol adaptions is Frank's confessional at the end. He's not talking to another character. He is speaking directly to US, the audience. His tearful pleading really hits home because he is looking us in the eye.

#WakeUpDeadMan is great if you're like me and love noir detectives. This is way more in line with Rian Johnson's first movie Brick than Knives Out. If you prefer a Agatha Christi or Sherlock Holmes style murder mystery, you won't like it as much.

Huh. I just realized that King Theoden (and the Rohirrim) are mortal. Not special like Aragorn, the elves or the dwarves. it's important that they show up at the end of the world. Without them Frodo & Sam would fail. Without humanity choosing to stand against the darkness, the world ends.

One of the things that I get kind of annoyed about myself in world building is going too deep into something. Like, I decided on having 2 moons in my new book. What would that look like? What was their orbital period? They're different sizes so... they won't be the same. And what about eclipses?
