The world of Whisperwood Chronicles is populated by folks of every shape and size, but are classified into three major groups. Woodlander(furry animals), Fethev(birds), and Qenic(a catchall term for lizards and amphibians). Aquatic races do exist, but the known world doesn't extend below the sea.

The world of Whisperwood is one of average, every day Woodlanders rising to the occasion, for better or worse. Whether it be making the final stand against a monstrous undead horde so that others can flee to safety or claiming first prize in a local bake-off with a famous chestnut and meat pie.
