Broke down today when I had a memory of my Dad. I screamed at God, “I’m not ready for this!” And cried for the first time in a long time.

I’m trying to think of the last Apple product I bought that broke within 2 years. Only one is the Apple Watch 6. Screen popped off, I had Apple Care so it cost nothing to fix. A year later, same thing happened. No longer had Apple Care, $300 to fix. No thanks. Anyone else have a bad experience?

Time limits for all social apps via iOS 18. Wow, I didn’t realize how quickly I reached 3 hours a day. Wake up call to put down the phone.

Saw a murmur of starlings as I was driving home last night. Couldn’t stare but good to know they’re still murmuring.

Kind of a fun exercise. I noticed a lot of writers use the phrase, “___ swallowed me whole.” I wondered how often I used the term and it was once in a 300 page journal. But “swallow” I use often. Similar to “breathe.”

Our newest anthology, UNSTABLE, is available for preorder! We took submissions for this about a year ago after one jerk on Twitter led to a bunch jerks using abusive language towards us & our followers, & the theme was to submit your most unhinged work. read with care ✨ link in bio

The ability for my iPad to grab text from old poems that were just screenshots from a deleted IG account I started in 2011 is saving me a lot of time. More of this, less rewrite my email to make it sound more robotic.

Wrote this a few years back. Posting about a month late, but you’ll still get it.

Oh man, so much stress but we get a long weekend this week so that’s nice. Sometimes I miss the day when I rented and could move closer to work easily.

Worked this weekend, got in early for work monday and the office is dead. It’s always hurry up and wait around here.

I decided before spending possibly thousands on a sleep study and new c-pap machine, I’d try an Anti-snoring mouthpiece. Last night, I fell asleep with it in my mouth, woke up with it out of my mouth.

So, I didn’t last the whole night, but probably a few solid hours. Round 2 tonight!

Could this app actually be filled with meaningful people who aren’t posting clickbait. I like to post about poetry, writing, books, living with Chronic Illness, and just simple moments. Where are my poets at? Bonus points if you’re a reader of books and lover of words.

bringing back the old username. Sometimes I write when I feel things. Some people like what I write, some don’t. What do you think?
