It feels super weird ordering anime blu-rays. I’ve been filling some small gaps in my collection this month and plan to start watching my way through as much as I can next month. I really need to discover that happy balance between all my various hobbies… just not enough time in the day.

Four months ago, I gave this update on goings on with me. Today I am ecstatic to announce my A1C dropped from 6.8 to 6.1 in another 3 month period. The diabetic medication only takes so much off so this is all my hard work and dedication to getting better and healthier. I am so proud of myself.
In early May, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Since then I’ve dramatically altered my diet and living conditions and environment. I’ve cut out 95-99% of my sugar intake. I’ve lost almost 30 pounds. So Wednesday was my three month bloodwork update. My A1C in May was 10.6, today it’s 6.8…

This is really, really bad news. I don’t care if you don’t like Kirk. No one deserves to be shot. This is dreadful news for people speaking publicly, who increasingly must fear for their safety, and also for the inevitable crackdown that will follow.
