This is a powerful, insightful essay and thank you for sharing. But with the caveat that the Theresa May quote really sticks in my throat. Let's not launder her xenophobic nationalism. Yes, there's the cosmopolitanism of the "Epstein class", but there's more than one way to be a citizen of the world
