cool! i was using both constellation and slingshot. and i got confused between slingshot and spacedust. and no i havent used pocket yet.

dont forget to insert the lycan instance url in the settings page, and to index your account (theres a one click button in the search page). after that the "Import..." box should turn into the "Search..." box and you can now search from your previously interacted posts

yeah kinda. deer social is a modification of the official app, whereas red dwarf is a brand new app. also red dwarf uses a different service provider that makes it usable even when bsky is down

not sure what happened there, im posting from the app right now and its working just fine

its a different issue, its specifically because the default following feed is not a custom feed, instead its a special other thing. same with list feeds, i cant show that in RD for a similar reason.

also sorry that i have not implemented image and attachments yet

hi there, im the dev here, sorry but the bite button is functional but it does not have any feedback if the bite worked or not. and also the edit profile and menu buttons dont work yet

ok you can try again now, i pushed a new build that should use pds-nd.whey.party as the handler resolver

its probably because im using bsky.social as the oauth-browser handle resolver, and its probably prioritizing its own users (??). ill try switching it to use my own PDS as the resolver and see if that fixes it

it was the vps clock. synced it and auth works now

you cant login into any oauth site hosted under the same domain as your pds, for security reasons apparently

i can now finally log in using oauth without a workarround

sorry it really is something i should communicate better in the app

the new post composer that finally allows for replies and quotes and facets does help, but it still doesnt support media embeds so youll be stick with text-only posting for a while
