... I always chuckle when writing that kinda thing out, given *my* nickname as well.

A lot of evidence about how being around trauma impacts education negatively. To look at the virus over the trauma is a mistake, and I say that - again - as someone for whom long covid is reshaping our lives for the much worse.

I’m not going to argue with anyone. But the effects are broad broad broad broad and I wish it was as simple as we’ve all had the virus altering our brain.

I know about fifty of you are pointing out long covid … long covid has permanently altered our life, I know. But underestimating trauma of living through this is a huge mistake a lot of folks are making in this thread.

I’m not saying that going online is great, because it fucking wasn’t. But I think we might be able to identify other factors… Like living through a global mass death event.
