Needles and haystacks
@whatthehow.bsky.social
archivist, mom, wife, Angeleno, goofball. Looking for the bright side of life.
So the military system codified but does not really allow practically for personal responsibility and ethics and decision making. So it looks good on paper for the lawyers but is a broken system, one of many, that cost the lives of two people.In this one instance. Shameful.

Is it that you needed better words to explain these actions, Tricia? Try these. ICE terrorizes, ruins, hurts, traumatizes families. Pick any or all for your next unapologetic waste of time.

Cost, driving consumerism by selling the public cheap Chinese junk that nobody needs, and having corporations be treated like people when it’s convenient for them only.

I appreciate that mortgage rates were really high. But the blame is about more than our housing system in this country. It’s about all the systems that were created and solidified by people older than me (I’m an old millennial) like health care costs, disappearance of pensions, higher education

Who invented those private equity firms to gobble up smaller companies and bankrupt them?! Wasn’t my millennial friends and I who were in high school in the 90s/2000s when our possibilities were being stolen by greedy people who got theirs and left nothing for the rest.

Why review people who came in during Biden admin when the shooting suspect was granted asylum only a few months ago during Trump’s admin? What a misleading headline, WaPo.

Studies have not ruled out the possibility that RFK Jr. is a preposterous goon and there’s lots of supporting evidence. Let’s study it more.

So true, you can feel it. And what’s more funny is that he got punked by kids at Santa Monica High School. It was not as fancy a community back then, it’s true. Perhaps he wanted to join in and they wouldn’t let him.

May Trump hate those of us with humanity and heart so much that it unites the world. Maybe then he will get the Nobel Peace Prize.

It’s been 8 months and he never delivered on the promise of contracts for which he was bribed? Sounds like an ineffective leader.

The giant catalog they send you that is an absolutely sad waste of paper and postage always has an “editor’s letter” style conservative political message in it, from Elizabeth Uihlein. I can’t think of another business vendor that does something like this. Seems creepy but I’m not a billionaire…

It’ll be the best, most watched tribute ever, just like Trump’s first inauguration.

So natural-ish selection?

I find the whole thing offensive, especially the word trailblazer.

I assume that the employee was (possibly) demonstrating a religious belief that racist hate spewing people should not be idolized as gods. How is that not a protected action? But I guess freedom of religion is only for people who speak about upholding Christianity while not actually practicing it.
