sweet kiss goodbye from benny while i was mostly still asleep / 2+ hours of purring snoozing snuggles with my panther / two exciting packages in the mail / perfect cup of coffee (bustelo w cinnamon) / watching bake off and planning today's studio session (making a bunch of silly chopstick rests!)

very few wfh experiences measure up to bopping down the street on my lunch break, acquiring a perfect sandwich from the hut, eating it on my couch, and then cracking an ice cold polar seltzer to wash it down. real creature comfort shit, you feel me?

completely buried two interpersonal hatchets in the last week...lately i've been trying to assess my instinct of backing away - or even cutting people off - when they make decisions i don't agree with. i think i need to learn how to disagree with people while still inviting them to my table.
