Thanks everyone! I made it there and back again. Happy with my chosen route & agree with shifting to start/leave a bit earlier next time. Biggest challenge right now are the hills (both ways, but lovely river in between).

Thanks! It’s definitely not as bad as some areas. I’m deliberately taking a slightly longer, more residential, route and trading bike lanes for quieter streets. I have not seen much success from others using the lanes unfortunately (bins in the way, parked cars, drifting drivers).
