As I said, we’re not blank slates. Where we differ is you think the players frustrated at the system will prosper if they just engaged with the resources properly and I’m saying maybe they already have (or haven’t) and that’s not enough to help them because they’re playing from behind to start.

And there’s not a great way to account for why because what causes it is there before they’ve played a game of splatoon. So yes, I believe it is genetic predisposition.

I don’t think “genetic freak” is the right term, but among millions of players, some will flourish with the resources available, some will flourish despite ignoring the resources available, some will flounder despite the resources available, and some will flounder having never used the resources

I actually think it’s plausible to believe that some people are born with inherent aptitude splatoon (or games in general) just as some are born with a stronger ability to build wealth. We are not all blank slates.

It has to be about splatoon though, huh?

Love seeing the guys who only pretend to like video games for the female attention get exposed as fakes.

Finally, CONCLAVE

I was engrossed by this film in the first 5 minutes. Great sense of stakes and tension. Satisfying developments throughout. Beautifully shot. I admire how intense a movie that is largely just whispered conversations can be. Ending was mildly underwhelming.
