I'm reading, "The Outlier, the Unfinished Presidency of Jimmy Carter," by @kaibirdbiographer.bsky.social. I keep going back to the Prologue:

Crest moon over the turquoise gulf, faint in daylight

Striped towel bellows.
He grips it, carries umbrella and cooler
But first, the hot flip-flop dance
She looks at him, lovingly

Striped one-piece follows her curves
She tugs the bottom and whoops sand from the blanket
He looks at her, lovingly

Don't know where to start after an exhausting election? Pick one small annoyance and work to get it fixed. Me to Town: "Please remove trash receptacles that allow poop from doggy bags to seap down into playground after a heavy rain. We would prefer placement of non dog poop seaping trash cans."
