An autism "registry" culled from private medical records could potentially violate federal privacy laws and runs the risk of abuse.

It also harkens back to a time when disabled people were labeled, segregated, and excluded. We won't go back.

The National Institutes of Health claims it is fulfilling RFK’s promise to find cause of autism by September

The dangers posed by these incredibly powerful spying devices are hard to overstate, and they’re being used with virtually no regulation.

We stand w/ the residents of Sackets Harbor today as they rally against Tom Homan’s cruelty toward immigrant NYers, including in his own backyard. It is an outrage that Homan’s ICE agents would terrorize a Sackets Harbor family w/ young children + cruelly send them thousands of miles away from home.

If you are looking for an unambiguous alternative, might we suggest the prefix ‘semi’?

A semicircle cuts a circle in half.
'Semi-' semantically cuts what it is affixed to in half.

semiweekly = two times a week
semimonthly = two times a month
semiannual = two times a year

“We have biweekly meetings.”

Does this mean meetings “occurring every two weeks” or "meetings occurring twice a week”?

Yes.

The Trump administration is scrubbing the CDC’s website of documents on reproductive rights issues, sexual health, intimate partner violence, and more.

I'm trying to save them.

You can find the deleted docs at cdcguidelines.com - I'll be adding more over the weekend.

Ernest Hemingway once said,
“In our darkest moments, we don’t need advice.”
What we truly need is the power of human connection: a quiet presence, a gentle touch, or the smallest gesture that reminds us we’re not alone.

Noncount nouns are words that don’t have usual plural forms.

These are words like ‘sand’ or ‘butter.’

They don’t use indefinite articles like ‘a’ or ‘an’ and take singular verbs.

“The butter is melting.”

“Sand blew in his face.”
