or manually copy the document uuid and double click in the select entity text box to open a pop up to paste the uuid into

click the little target icon (select entity) and then click on the journal you want to be opened

I just tested, I can't replicate. This is the set up I used to create a clickable tile to open a sheet

I believe monks active tiles lets you create images that you can click on and link through to a journal.
