We are delighted to support #Love30 who are calling on the Oireachtas and every Local Authority to make 30 km/h the default speed limit in built-up areas, but particularly in town centres, residential estates, and in the vicinity of schools and places of public assembly.

WexBUG were happy to participate in the rally for safer roads this morning. The Love 30 Campaign advocates for a standard urban speed limit of 30kph. Research shows that this will reduce road deaths and injuries. Time for the promises of action on road safety to be prioritised. #Love30

This morning we hosted an experiential cycle with some of our local County Councillors and members of the Active Travel Team. We focused on safety, the importance of segregation, and future plans for the Active Travel Scheme. We’re grateful to Cllrs Kelly, Laffan, and Walsh for their engagement.

Bolt figures for the e-bike/-scooter scheme in #Wexford for the Fleadh, illustrates high demand across the 8 days. Headline figures:
- 4,297 individual trips
- 9,307km were travelled by 1,597 unique users.
- 503 new users
- No reported accidents
Imagine all of these were car journeys?

@wexfordcoco has been awarded €3.15M towards Greenway + Development.
We are not 💯 sure what is planned for this € sum, beyond the SouthEast Greenway, at this stage.
Hopefully we will see some other Greenway developments within the county 💜💛boundary soon 🤞

BREAKING 🚨

We are not 💯 sure what is planned for this € sum, beyond the SouthEast Greenway, at this stage.
