I had the exact same experience.
I got it on my face twice in 4 months. Miserable illness. Luckily I started meds quickly and never had the pus break out. My entire face peeled like the worst sunburn you’ve ever had. Felt like total dogshit for days. Gets worse before it gets better even after you start the meds. You don’t want it.
