Been eyeing an @theatlantic.com subscription for months. Bought the print version of "How The Ivy League Broke America" to discuss with my kids. Bought the next month too. Every day that goes by shows me the value of their work. As of today, consider me a paid subscriber.

LHSAA High School Bowling regular season wraps up today -- Denham Springs is the defending Division I boys champion. They are currently #13 headed into final day of competition at 9-3. The girls team is #5 at 11-1. Brackets release in the next few days.

This is a direct attack on the First Amendment. Regardless of how you feel about DEI, teaching any element of it is protected by the First Amendment. This is a federal prosecutor attacking the curriculum of a private Christian college. Inexcusable.

Must read. I will provide some thoughts later --- discussing with my family. A lot of good actionable things to take from this if you are raising kids and making sure you are aiming your efforts at the right kinds of things that measure as "useful" in the world we live in today.
Maybe I was just terrible at X but I never bought the blue check -- and it seemed to me since it went "for pay" I got very little engagement. Was this others experience? -- the volume here is so much lower, but I am already experiencing better engagement.
