Then in follow up game this morning, started with a 5 run first inning with starting pitcher rolling an 8 on d100 + d4 for a RBI single!!! Won game 2 of series 8-0 with 16 hits! Fantastically simple baseball game!!!

Really digging Deadball (2E). Baseball with dice!!! I’m playing as 3rd place team making a pennant run in last 9 games of season, playing second place team. Was down 6-1 in top 7 and had huge rally to tie and win in 11.

Well hold off on the initiation ritual for the cult for a couple of games. Just keep in mind when you join the cult you get a cool hat! 😁 (forgot mine for the con…😢)

First game of Deadball. Playing modern era 9 game Circuit from the rulebook to get bearings. A pitching duel but my Charlottesville flycatchers lost 2-1 to an 8 inning 3 run gem pitched by Broad Street’s Pam Casey!

Still slowly working through the main scenario of All Are Brothers. Finished turn 7 and Austrians starting to get moving snd have reinforcements stepping up. At the point though that corp morale might play a factor soon. Here is last couple turns:

All Are Brothers Solferino end of turn 2, Austrians can’t get moving except Benedek VIII Corps on the right flank. Sardinians need to get some help on that flank bad.

Just got All Are Brothers, Battle of Solferino from Legion Wargames this week. Nice looking package and addition to the series. Looking forward to setting this up see what it does different!

Back with Agnadello scenario of Arquebus from GMT! This one looks to be a bloodbath with a ton of French units bearing down on Venetians. Took a bit to dig out all these units from the trays but primed now!

Battle of Fornovo was next on the list for Arquebus! Wild scenario, was super fun. league of Venice tried to cut off French retreat but paid dearly. French had to all but abandon baggage train and continue their withdrawal. Rising River helped give them time to make the Venetians pay

French put pressure on flanks! Able to get some continuation rolls and favorable fire to retire Spanish flank unit!

However after recovering from the shock of explosion behind their lines they were able to fire into the French poised to cross the ditch and retire some units…this weekend the saga continues with French trying to bring up Cavalry support!
