This morning's encounter with a young roe deer that had just been separated from it's parents and sibling. It went the right way in the end!

In the aftermath of storm Bert, you can see the power of water at this weir. Built in the late 18th century, it was the start of the power feed to two cotton mills on the Irwell. Now there's just a lot of energy being wasted. Would love it if we could harness this into a local #hydropower supply.
