I convinced my parents to get cable TV just so that I could watch the Maniac Mansion tv show.

This is so funny! I just recently saw a TikTok or something by someone who discovered that Chicago has a "basement" and it brought back memories of being lost down there when I was 18 one time. It was probably just 10 minutes but felt like an hour or aimless turning trying to find a way back out.
