I do not have small enough words to communicate to ML researchers that if you take people's data, EVEN IF IT IS PUBLICALLY AVAILABLE, and then you upload it to huggingface without communicating with them or even talking to them about what it's for, people will be mad at you.

A lot of PoC rightly pointing out that this is common to their cultures but this is also something white folks do. Or maybe "used to" is more accurate? Had an Aunt/Grandma Millie and Aunt Jonie who were ladies who lived in my apartment building and helped my mom raise me while we lived there.
