Bookbinding is a thing I love. So knowing about stuff like this is sort of part of it.
(I bind books in cotton fabric. I just got my hands on some (bovine!) leather, so I get to give that a shot soon. :)

They’re doing so good! I do worry it’s a bit too cold in here for them. We do keep it pretty cool in the house.
But, they do look pretty good!
These are the yellow zebra. Everyone’s already seen my dairy cows and magic potions.
My panda kings are much much more shy.

I use a scroll frame!
I like it because I can have a tight canvas (you could bounce a needle minder off of it!) and not get the issue with folding the canvas into a hoop.
Plus, soon as I get my office put together, I can hang it on the wall when not in use!!
