I was honored to stand on the grounds of the State Capitol in Raleigh today with voters and elected officials from across the great State of North Carolina to oppose the unacceptable power grab (redistricting) MAGA is forcing on our State.

This act would allow veterans forced to medically retire with a >50% combat-related disability prior to 20 years of service to choose between staying in the tax-free Combat-Related Special Compensation (CRSC) program or receive their full retirement pay and full VA disability pay.

North Carolinians deserve clarity and fairness in elections. The most fundamental act in a representative republic is choosing your representation. The perversion of law to advance the agenda of any party or individual goes against the America I stand for.
