"Breathless" might be the one Goddard I found watchable, even funny when he stopped for a female hitchhiker, but ix-nayed that when he decided she wasn't good looking.

I'm jealous of the late Nat Hentoff, can only imagine how great his jazz collection was! I used to work as a freelance illustrator. One client was the Village Vice [sic]. On occasion, I used the opportunity, when dropping off a job, to pop my head in the door of his office to ask a jazz question.

My first LP? Autumn of 1964, "House of the Rising Sun." Then, for Christmas, "Surfer Girl." Early 1965 saw the first two Kinks, Beatles, etc. "Getz/Gilberto," "Highway 61." Classical, more jazz... 'Twas a time, chirren.
