Like adding “in bed” to fortune cookie sayings, I believe one should add “in his asshole“ to everything Trump says.

I mean, it's not ideal and at an excess can become gross and distracting.

That said, the nation is falling apart (so this is not a high priority complaint). And CivLAvia is so nice and it's good to be outside and see so many people out and ... eh, wtvr ; )

Sheer frictionless *sociopathy* may be the strongest through-line of this Administration.

I mean, why not just publicly subcontract our European foreign policy shop to the Kremlin -- for the sake of gov't efficiency and all that.

Why bother funding a potemkin U.S. policy on Europe when Russia is doing all the work already anyway?

An evil, selfish, craftily brutal man, responsible for thousands and thousands of deaths.

“Proper”?
“Devotion to country”?
Fuck sakes.

It is an awfully low bar to compare him to the even worse clownish psychopaths running our government now.

Your scenario is unnervingly plausible ...

I feel like Swalwell and (sigh) Caruso have decent chances to break from the pack, and maybe even Steyer. Or ... not.

The others seems too meek, flawed or one-dimensional.
And all my past predictions came true (haha) so this is surely the right take ; )

praise Nancy Cordes

www.cbs.com/showfeedback/

Lord knows what difference it makes at the new terrible CBS news to praise journalistic pushback. And playing the Leavitt kabuki game is a questionable enterprise to begin with.

But hey - always praise journalists who push back at the slime machine.

Good ol' worm didn't want to let him get those words out.

Haha, sucks to slowly have your brain eaten by a worm.
(And sucks for a nation when that snack is our Sec of HHS.)

Since he tends to take both sides of every issue, and bounces back and forth between the bomb thrower and so-called institutional GOP wings, we can't rule out that he threatened his own life.

Sure, things “matter” to people.

But since the fragmentation of the old monoculture, (1) stuff isn’t communal, so (2) it also isn’t in communal response or reference to other communal things.
The societal meaning is absent (even if micro cultures do their standalone things).
