Sooo, we're just going to keep pretending this is her hair? Girly had 9ish months of chemo, and while it's technically possible that it's hers, odds are very, very slim. Great wig, though. (Also, no shame here in losing her hair to chemo. This isn't a hater post. I'm a survivor, too.)

If someone offered me cake with a raspberry filling and there was somehow black licorice mixed into that filling, there had better be a place available for me to spit that cake right out.

Newly 16 (today!) child overslept/missed the bus/had to call grandma for an emergency ride to school, left the milk on the counter for me to find after work, and the front door unlocked all day.

So it's looking like 16 is going to be very much like 15.

I just received a reply from an email I sent in 2018, about a class I haven't taught since the end of 2019, from a parent whose child has already graduated high school. Like... what?
