Food waste is a huge problem in schools. Some kids eat one thing and throw everything else away. Perhaps ala carte or more options (I know that sounds counterintuitive) would lower waste and costs. One personal peeve, we all know what kinds of food kids love, so stop cooking up stuff no one likes!

The issue is not with the phones, but teaching kids about responsible usage at home. What good will this do once kids are 18 years old? Esp, if they have no ability to use technology responsibly before they turn into adults?

Another concern -- ban smartphones, then what about tablets and computers?
