IMHO, electric motors are far superior to traditional ICE engines. However, this article makes sense. I think a EREV / hybrid system will look a lot more intriguing going forward. Imagine a platform that isn't locked to a single fuel type. I'm excited to see how cars evolve in the future.

Someone needs to build a DIY solar charging kit for EVs. Two versions. One for home (semi-permanent, moveable) and one for on the go, i.e. when camping or parked.
Keys are DIY, convenient, reasonably priced and well designed/made. It'll be a game changer when charging is more accessible and cheap!
