half-baked thought, but I think Newcastle of last year is a good comp for where Spurs are now.

- bright new manager gets european football
- more games leads to injury crisis
- deeply inconsistent form but still a good team with "world class" players

HS history teacher was from Tottenham originally (he moved to US to do a grad degree on the civil war???) but he would put on game highlights when he finished teaching for the day

in college, made some soccer fan friends so picked spurs to follow bc i knew some spurs players from those videos
So when did you start supporting Spurs?

I’m a lifer since the late 80s/early 90s, inherited from my dad and older brother. First Spurs memory is our family’s excitement around the 91 Cup FA Cup final.
So when did you start supporting #THFC #SPURS #COYS? This is my 10th season following. I remember when Sonny signed for the Club. Lots of ups and downs over the past decade but I wouldn’t change it. Tottenham till they kill me!

Apparently people are saying Ange needs to get Spurs to another level to keep his job, which is absolutely insane to me. Sure, he does some small stuff that's annoying, but he is literally the best thing about the team at the moment and its direction.
