Didn't have a tape measure or coin handy, hopefully this pic of it in the yogurt container I used to capture it provides a sense of scale. This container is like 2.25x3" (~6x8 cm). Anyway, hopefully he's finding some even tinier insects to eat outside now

Check out the lil fella I found in my office this morning
A very tiny lizard standing very still on the concrete outside my building. It has a snakelike head, wrinkly body and a long tail. It is mostly brown, tapering towards yellow in the tail, and has a variety of stripes and spots along its body. It's very cute!

A few weeks back, I saw my first Burrowing Owl in the wild. I just happened to have a loaded film camera with me at the time, so here he is

Got a new lens for one of my cameras and it is LARGE

Totally forgot to post about it at the time, but last week I redid the stitching on an old camera case. Turned out pretty nice imo!

It is clear that i did this by hand and am not very practiced, but it still looks decent Bonus shot of the camera in question, a Praktica IV. I love it dearly, it is a joy to shoot!

Took some friends out to see the desert wildflowers this morning and found a perfectly usable tripod and flashlight out there that had been abandoned or forgotten. Score! Usually the only thing I'm coming home with after a trip like this is a stuffy nose

Just went climbing inside a grain silo, it was v cool

I'm visiting relatives in Oklahoma and we're staying in a hotel owned and operated by the post office. It's weird as hell but also super cool? Tempted to get some post office swag from the gift shop
