Your parking solutions are what we need, including traffic calming measures. With infrastructure that serves people not cars. We have a plethora of engineers. We need our own ideas to flourish and become the place to copy from.

I disagree. NYC could do it even better. We could amplify our usage of our current car network and create a bike network that connects people everywhere safely. We need more traffic calming measures, congestion pricing is also short sighted. Stop copying and plagiarising other countries.

The issue is executive orders can be reversed too easily. It has to be things like (pardons) which can’t be reversed by the next sitting president.

In NYC we def need those planters and rocks there to stop trucks and cars from parking/stopping there. Saw a tiktok of a guy complaining about getting double parking tickets when he travels from upstate. He just leaves his car there for like 2 hours. Blocks traffic and wonders why he gets tickets.

Touchscreen is fine. I think the US is just lagging behind so badly on technology. We aren’t trying as many things as other countries. Everyone is too busy arguing and failing to advance.

At that point just make a store that is pickup only. If you go there without a pickup order, you just use a terminal and tell it what you want with your voice. Confirm and watch robots go fetch your stuff.
