Well, Pokémon Z-A has made me do something I never thought I would do again: rewatch the major plot scenes from X/Y. Excellent job making me interested again... and realising all the musical callbacks and the excellent 3D remaking of Lysandre Labs.

In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.

Also, Z-A has achieved a miracle: making me actually want to battle trainers for the first time in my life. Remove the faff, the loading, let me choose when I actually want to fight them, make it snappy, and suddenly it's like I'm in a completely different game. I'm struggling to process it.

Lately, I've been telling myself to do chores partially every hour or so instead of everything as a whole. Iron some clothes, the most pressing ones. Wash some dishes and finish them in a while. Prepare the base for lunch now and finish it off in two hours. Otherwise I get so overwhelmed.
