Use the trees for possible leads as you do with Ancestry trees. I’ve gotten some great leads that have proven very useful.
The further back you go the more problematic they become.
I highly doubt that my husband is descended from a Viking king or I’m descended from the Boleyn family.

Relatives are based on FamilySearch trees which are user inputted. Errors do occur. Also, some trees are deeper and more researched. Your connection might be closer on a different family line but FamilySearch might have not that information.

I’m not religious, but even I know the story about the golden calf and idols. Wonder how the evangelists will try to spin this.

I’m American and I’m watching CBC to get news from outside the USA. Most of our news media are afraid of Trump, especially after what he did to the Associated Press.

My boyfriend’s first job after college was with EDS (Lansing) in the late 80s. I remember he had to sign a morality clause and have a strict dress code.

What can go wrong?
Putting people with drug issues and kids on ADHD meds on a farm without cellphones or communication with the outside world. (Hopefully, they won’t combine the age populations)
Raising money through sales tax on cannabis which isn’t legal in most states.

“Deputy Archivist William Bosanko informed staff in an email Friday that he will step down on Tuesday. Bosanko, who has worked at the agency since 1993, has been the acting head of the National Archives and Records Administration for just a week…”
February 16, 2025 at 8:20 PM
According to the Mother Jones’ article “According to two sources familiar with the situation, Bosanko was pushed out by Jim Byron, a 31-year old who was recently president of the Richard Nixon Foundation. Byron delivered Bosanko an ultimatum: Resign now or be fired next week.”

I have lots of Google pins. I’m looking for an alternative when I try to visualize locations. I don’t think I need it to integrate with anything. Though, I did see that Gramps & TNG had OSM modules.

I think Bluesky will offer an IG alternative.
Some of the planner folks that I followed are here.
Genealogists and archivists from European countries are here and some Americans.
