Small businesses in my area have been doing this for as long as I can remember. I had noticed a couple chain businesses had greeters at Christmas last year, but I haven't seen it this year so far.

I prefer to have an umbrella, so I can stay dry when the Heavens try to drown me. lol

We used the mixer on Thanksgiving, each bathroom has a plunger (used 1 last month), and I have 2 umbrellas: 1 BIG umbrella & one that fits in my purse. The BIG umbrella was a present from the Hospital I worked for & it has the Hospital's logo on it. Hubby gave me the little umbrella.

Your 🎄 looks great. I'm trying to figure out where to put my 4 ft 🎄 this year, because of the dog. Last year we didn't get the 🎄 out of the closet, because Daken was still a puppy & I didn't trust him to leave it alone. I remember when we had a cat who climbed the 🎄 and made a huge mess.

Local Charlotte news has been showing the US citizens that ICE has detained, assaulted & damaged their vehicles. The response of people in Charlotte that I've seen is NOT supportive of ICE. Elected GOP, that have spoken in favor of ICE, are going to have a hard time getting reelected.
