Scam emails today: 1 Israel email `pretending to be Amazon. 1 from US pretending to be Bit Coin & it had a bill for >$600 for bitcoins. The "bill" included that my PayPal account would be charged. I don't have a PayPal account. 😁 Plus so many emails for giving Tuesday. Wish I had more $$ for that.

I am a BAD dog mom. I have a migraine & Daken's ball had a squeaker in it. When he brought it to me to play fetch, I took it in the kitchen & removed the squeaker. My head could NOT deal with that noise anymore. Sorry, Daken. His other ball's squeaker died a natural death. I wonder that ball is.

Governor Stein brought a check for >$2 million for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (that's the Charlotte area) to the Panthers Game. That is awesome!

Son, a chef, did most of the Holiday cooking. Mashed potatoes were unique, fancy, & delicious. Green beans had king oyster mushrooms mixed in. Turkey was perfect. All I had to do was the crescent rolls & dressing. He made chess cake for dessert. 😋 I'm doing clean-up. We have leftovers for days. 😁

Older stepdaughter texted me a picture of younger stepdaughter with the Cabbage Patch Baby she got for Xmas in 1984. Wish I could remember the name of the coworker who had Black Friday off & she bought 2 of those & sold me one. I had to work at the hospital that day.

Today I'm happy that I DO NOT have a paypal account. Got emails about paypal payments that I supposedly have been billed. The invoices listed 3 different guy's name as the person who owes the money. I just sent those emails to my spam folder.

I'm confused. I got a package from Chewy that contained dog food & a toy. I can't find a payment on either of my credit cards & there wasn't a gift note in the box. Daken loves the toy & I'm impressed with how well made the toy is. Daken usually tears them apart in a few minutes. 🤷♀️

Strange mail this week for my late hubby: He got mail from Nissan car dealer wondering if he wanted to sell them his Nissan Frontier. We sold it 12 years ago. Today he got a "check" for an "insurance refund" on a 2022 Ford Bronco. I just shredded that. Apparently scammers don't know he's dead.🙄

Son gave me a heads up that he'll be working overtime, because some of his coworkers aren't coming to work because of ICE being in town. Don't know if those guys are illegal, but even the legal Hispanic people are getting arrested by ICE. Son is chef, those coworkers are prep & dishwashers.

According to local news, ICE broke the window in a guy's truck & dragged him out. He's a naturalized American Citizen. He has physical wounds & his truck needs repairs. This is NOT legal!

Just in case any of my followers live near a Food Lion grocery store, they have frozen turkeys on sale for $0.99 per pound. I have a chest freezer, so I bought one today. Saved >$20. 😋

I've been using Firefox as my browser for a while. I got fed up with AI being the default resource for searches, because what I got was ads instead of information. So I've gone back to Safari. So far, I'm glad I made the switch.

Weather is weird!!! We're getting snow flurries❗ The temp is 34°F. The snow evaporates before it hits the ground. Lows tonight in the 20s, and highs on Tuesday in the 40s. BUT we'll be back to highs in the 70s by Friday and through the weekend. WEIRD!
