A tisket a tasket. I finished a basket. It’s a bit floppy. I have more of the yarn, and might try working it around small diameter rope to make a stiffer basket.

The yarn was my last purchase at Joann when I heard the bankruptcy was coming…

Is it at a height deer can reach? By the time I got my phone out, this guy had emptied the feeder, but he had his mouth over the bottom home and had tilted it to shade seed into his mouth.

10 weeks post-adoption, Roman seems to be settling in and relaxing.

Stopped at a Clatsop County park for a picnic lunch on the way from Astoria to Portland.

It was eerily quiet…until the raptor circling overhead moved on….

The cat rescue we adopted from called this week to see how Roman is settling in to our house and if he is getting along with the other pets.
I left a message saying that they’re usually in the same room at least half of the day and sometimes play together.

This little accessory was installed in the engine compartment of a 2021 Honda Insight. Security warned the owner the car was meowing, and a kitten chase commenced.

Good news : Burt’s medicine is making him feel better.
Bad news : Burt now feels well enough to run fast enough that I can’t catch him.
Silver lining: We are both getting more exercise.
Current status: still hasn’t had his medication.

The youngest cat has decided that coasters are not to be tolerated on tables anymore, so I made a thing.

When the temperature is going to dip below -10C repeatedly, this garden window makes the bathroom too cold, so I relocate the plants and apply plastic film. Then I hang the netting to let the cats know there is now plastic film, since they like to sleep in there when it’s sunny.
