Worth reading this article. What’s true for France is even more so for the UK. Recognition yes, but more than that too. There’s no time to lose.

Missiles may have destroyed much of our hospital in Gaza but let it be known that we are not defeated. Already our staff are clearing up and finding ways to get the damaged facilities up and running again. They really are unstoppable.

Easter joy breaks from Jerusalem even in midst of the all that is so destructive. The resurrection is given to us not as a comfort but as a calling to strive for all that is for life and peace.

I heard some loud squawking from the rookery and saw one Great Blue Heron chasing another. With so many Great Blue Herons (30+) in close proximity, disagreements seem to pop up every once in a while. They get worked out by the birds flying around for a bit.

Good morning friends 🤍
Last Saturday we got some snow on the morning and we also got a new visitor, Robin. Even if the snow and the Robin came together, definitely not bringing the Christmas like in Ireland - I hope 😂
Have a great day 🤍

Back when I started birding and didn’t know an egret from my elbow, I wondered about all the “sparrows” hanging out with the red-winged blackbirds. Turns out they were lady red-winged blackbirds, like this one. 😁 #birds #photography #eastcoastkin #nature
