Maybe something in our haul? :)

@stoutstoat.co.uk Carved in Stone was delivered this morning. It is a beautiful (and hefty) tome to guide storytellers through the world and life of the Picts. So glad I backed it. It looks great. #CarvedInStone #Storytelling #Picts

Not an old bookshop, but I gave in to temptation and bought this today. And it's a great read so far! Bookshops are full of tempting things... 😄

It was very nice to pop in and meet you tonight. I love the shop and its odd and inviting selection of books, prints and miscellaneous goods. You sold me on the idea of trying out Troika. I'll be keeping an eye out for taster sessions!

@fistfulofcrits.bsky.social That little story resonates with my child about to leave for uni to study classics. 😄 Guess I'm on the hook for a copy now...

Frankie goes to Hollywood C64 game joke next, please. I'm not dead yet and love the nostalgia! 👴

We were there a couple of weeks ago for a uni visit. It was such a good time to be there with all the cherry blossoms in flowers. I wouldn't mind our progeny studying up there. :)

I'd love to play Fate of the Nostromo, but haven't yet.
Have you played Nemesis? It nails the Alien theme and tension, with the serial number filed off. Every game is a cinematic adventure, often complete with corporate betrayal by another player.

As someone currently holidaying in Toronto, I love both the underlying idea and what you did with the setting. Nice one!

What game are you taking into school for the last day of term?
December 20, 2024 at 1:58 AM
Ooh. I love Lucky for None. It travelled with me to Canada this week to play over Christmas.
Not sure whether "in space" is what you should be doing or want to do, but go for it!

I am off for 3 weeks for the holidays. Here is my (aspirational) pile of #ttrpg reading, prep and playing materials to bring along:
Get acquainted with #riversoflondon + 3 awesome scenarios.
Complete my prep of #alien Chariot of the Gods (both for January games).
Play solo too!
What's your list?

It's out of control!

Holly Molly. That game. It makes me feel like I'm the man with the whip. And Troy Baker is sooo good (so is the voice acting in general). I'm loving it.

Sometimes, the Keeper and players' minds are "slightly" scattered during a session. This was today's Call of Cthulhu session in a drawing. 😬

The physical copy is lovely and the hand outs "advent calendar" a delight. It's a lovely package and the scenario looks like great fun. Can't wait to play it.

"disastrously sad cowboys fail to stop the apocalypse." is an awesome evocative tag line for a game. #Inevitable the #ttrpg is a captivating read that sparks the imagination. Kudos to the authors (not sure whether they are here) and @soulmuppet.co.uk for this game. It surprised me.

Was really lovely to meet you both and purchase your creations. I can't wait to find out what's in the envelopes when we play "Jimmy Mothballs' Festive Staffing Agency Steals Christmas".

Our #DragonMeet haul contains a Christmas heist one shot with a gift box containing the NPC cards and handouts, an Animal Crossing meets Wicker Man scenario, the best tote bag ever made, stitching, tea, so many dice and pretty much "The Dark Tower, the RPG". It looks hopelessly awesome.

Can't speak about independent coffee shops. But my daughter and I always stop at La Petite Bretagne after DragonMeet. It's nearby. They make the best savoury crepes and serve Brittany cider. It's a really nice way to recharge after a day in the halls. We love it. www.lapetitebretagne.co.uk
