It feels so weird to just be going to work.
There's the whole world stuff plus mom in the hospital, but some guy got his sweatpants chord stuck in his dryer motor, so I have to go deal with that.

Gregor had just felled his 3rd dragon when he was dared to try the newest brew, Fermented with gelatinous cube. As was his tradition, he dropped a random potion into the tankerd, a potion of Awakening.

Yeah I'm talking the default ones you'd see if you ordered on Amazon.
I made mine by taking some wood paint Canvas pieces,cutting the top down and putting it on a hinge. So it carries as a 12x12, then folds open to 9x12 with a ledge for initiative tracking.

The "hey dad, anything we can bring?" has begun.
I'm in charge of desert:
-Home grown squash spice cake
-Peach & cherry upside down cake (wife calls it a 'no leches' cake since it's moist like a tres leches but literally no milk)
-Brownies with Raspberry icing
-Peanut butter fudge
#thanksgiving

I'm in charge of desert:

Now I use this as a session zero handout to build worlds directly from PC backstory.

Players name a hometown and label the surrounding land features. We then put the mini maps together like a puzzle to form the starting campaign map.
