But seriously if anyone is wanting to learn more about a sport (ESEPCIALLY THE GIRLIES) a league with your friends really does help
There’s no condescending “name five teams” bullshit, no “girls who like sports are pick me’s” energy

The shifting meaning of "indie" as an IDEA in TTRPGs is because of normal language drift AND because the landscape of publishing has gone from "everything's a zine" to D&D getting pro, to a wider landscape, to D&D as monolith over both fancy and zine-type stuff in the life of a single speaker.
