Today I threw out my back by doing nothing more than flipping an egg in a skillet with a spatula. Middle age is weird.

One of the worst parts of the job is getting a ticket to deactivate someones accounts first thing in the morning. Especially when it's a coworker you get along with. I know I had a hand in ruining their day just as it started. And I was as blindsided as they were. Sometimes being in IT really sucks.

I find myself binge watching air crash investigations on YouTube lately. As soon as you start watching, you know it's not going to end well, and the whole purpose of the episode is to explain what lessons were learned from the tragedy. Feels surprisingly relevant right now.
